Default Differnce between Cache and index?

I am little bit confuse about these two terms: cache and idex.
Can there be any page which is indexed but is not cashed by search engines?

That is possible. Archiving takes longer then indexing, So it is often just a matter of time.
Ensure you don't set any meta tags to say "noarchive".

If the page is cache & index by Google then its good, if the page has indexed but not cache then it means its temporary indexing.
