    Default Calculating Keyword Density

Now that you know what it is... a great free tool to help you figure out the keyword density of an article or page is Dupefree Pro (Google it to get site). You copy and paste the content into a box and type the keyword or phrase and it will scan it and tell you the density. Most people shoot for 1.5 - 2%.

Knowing the number of times a keyword appears in the body using a tool keyword density is of course important. The selected keyword keyword density is a measure of the number displayed on the site.

    Default Before and After

Before, 2.5-3% keyword density is good practice, but with Google's new Panda out, I say quality first before bothering about keyword density.
