As we all know "content is the king" for a website and search engines only take care of those websites who have the theme based content within there web pages.

Different websites utilize different search algorithms. So we can't really be sure how search engines rank websites. However, the basic tenet is that you must have relevant content, and do a reasonable amount of backlinking.

Quite simply, the links you build to your site are acting as 'referrals' from other trusted sites back to your own. The more referrals you have from other sites, the higher your rankings.

A great resource you can try if you haven't already is to check out the videos on YouTube regarding SEO and any other areas you're interested in. I've come across some that have given new ideas I hadn't come across in some of the other areas I was looking in. Best of luck!
