    Default Is Mail signature important?

    Hey All,

I use gmail as my mailing agent, and send normally 50 mails per day. I want to know if I add signature in it targeting my website, will it also be helpful in seo point of view. I hope my friends have understood my question

    Best Regards

This will not help to optimize your search engine results because the key words and link in your emails are private. These private emails are not crawlable, nor are they present on a dedicated page, hence they will not improve your SEO efforts.

It will not help for Search engine optimisation at all but it will help to promote your site to people so I suggest to leave the signature in the mails.

It won't do anything for SEO, but it helps give your Emails a bit more professionalism. Just PLEASE don't become one of those people with 30 links in their signature.

Default No it will not Help

No it will not help with Google ranking but you might want to consider and email list in the form of a newsletter as that could help you market to a new audience.

Of course it has to be unique content and it has to be interesting enough that others pass it on. A fair amount of work but if you maintain consistency it could pay off huge.

As others have said, it will not help with SEO, but still helps with promotion so I like to keep them on.

It can help you get some traffic, but in terms of ranking it will not help.

However, I was reading somewhere in this forum that Google crawls the email signature links. Not sure...

No, it won't help in terms of SEO, but definitely keep it added for site promotion.

    Traffic? yes. Direct seo? no.

Mailing lists can be very helpful in gaining new visitors and also keeping customers coming back.
