Default Lots of advice out there but what is true

Everyone has something to say about ranks or seo. Some say do it like this while others say not to. Is it worth the time and efforts or should you pay some professional to do all this ?

How is it best to start ?

I'm not just saying this because I am a professional SEO, but I would pay someone. Someone hires you to sell their house because you know how to better than they do, so why would you try to market your website instead of hiring someone who does it on a daily basis?

PM me if you want more help. I already do SEO and PPC management for multiple real estate clients.

It all sounds good. Recently a few realtor friends told me they hired an SEO pro infact a couple to do the required works ...well later found out that their money went to trash. Really is confusing to hear all.
