I'd hate to beat a dead horse and tell you. Take some time out of your day and read through the threads. If you do this little-by-little each day, you'll have an answer.

Learning SEO involves LOTS of reading, testing, tracking results, and repeating..

there is some pretty decent knowledge being dropped here.

    Create an SEO friendly page.
Optimize your title tags and meta descriptions carefully.
Create content that matches your keywords you wish to rank for.
Sign up for Social Bookmarking sites ( look em up ).
Participate in blogs associated within your niche.

Question to some folks: Does anyone drop keyword anchor text on blogs anymore? I see this less and less, and seeing more branding keyword dropping - I'm wondering if it's actually hurting rather than help rank.

Keep the knowledge flow moving, this is becoming a decent thread!

I have noticed this as well. I guess for some (as is my case), their 'brand' includes the keywords so it works out well. Nevertheless, in the grand scheme of things I think I'd prefer to dominate keywords rather than the brand. After all, for your 'brand', there should be considerably less competition and you should have an advantage.

My 2 cents to the thread, make sure you use the meta tags/title/description as is intended, descriptive yet (hopefully) include keywords. I have stumbled upon a few sites who had absolutely ZERO value as far their meta was concerned.

    Hi,
the best tips for SEO is:
improve your site with quality content, Reasonable hierarchyand not to many links on one page (think what would you visitor like).
SEO will come naturally from that
