You can start with onpage optimization and to improve the site itself - the content and user-friendly atmosphere. Then goes offpage optimization - link building, forum posts with signatures, then article writing and article sub, ission to the directories.

He is right first do on page optimization and then do off page optimization.
Insert keywords within the title tag so that search engine robots will know what your page is about.

Use the same keywords as anchor text to link to the page from different pages on your site

Make sure that the text within the title tag is also within the body of the page
do not spam the description or keyword meta tag by stuffing meaningless keywords

Describe your images with the use of the alt tag. This will help search engines that index images to find your pages and will also help readers who use text only web browsers.

Submit to the search engines yourself. Do not use a submission service or submission software. Doing so could get your site penalized or even banned.

    Sheyan,

Just go into YouTube or Google and type in "SEO tips" or something like that.

You'll find countless resources on how to help you get started. If you don't know a certain vocab term they use, just look it up.

You'll catch on to some basic tips in no time, and then just start implementing them--over time you will see the results.

    Default seobook

I would recommend anyone new to SEO to read SEO Book (SEOBook.com) Even just the website has a lot of great resources for free, but if you really want to know yourself I would recommend purchasing this ebook.

You can learn a lot about SEO in forums like this, but I would also recommend reading a book or two about SEO written by an expert.
