Domain & Blog - Tool to Dominate Search Engine
Hi,
I found this forum while browsing Google.com
As this forum also consist of Real Estate Marketing Ideas category. I like to share some of my thoughts, if moderators don't delete my thread.
I know methods thru which website can be on top of search engines by main keywords.
One of the main method is by buying keyword rich domain names and run a blog over it. As Blogs can be used as an effective tool to achieve higher rankings. Good for SEO and marketing purpose as keyword rich domain names are easy to remember also.
I know now question arises that most of the keyword rich domain names are already booked.
I agree about this fact but another fact is domain names keep on expiring on daily basis just need is to keep an quick eye over it. I booked many real estate domain names using this technique and also dominate search engines by some keywords.
Some domains names I have:
1. estatemarkets.com
Rank 1 in Google by following keywords:
Estate Markets, UK Estate Markets, USA Estate Markets
2. usapropertymarket.com
3. europepropertymarket.com
4. realestateagentmarkets.com
5. propertyagentsdirectory.com
6. ukrealestates.com
7. usahomeagents.com
Contact me if you want to purchase any of the above domain name lookingfordomain@gmail.com orSend me a private message in case you can give me good offer (I am willing to sell domains).
Let see if someone is interested in domain names or sharing thoughts on using domain names and blog as a tool to dominate search engines.
Look forward to hearing from you.
Thanks

One secret these domain sellers will not tell ya. The domain does not have to be exact.
If you want a website for good SEO and the domain is taken, just add "A" or the "The" in front of it. It does not make a difference.Home inspections in Raleigh, Durham, Cary, Chapel Hill, and Apex. 919-809-9696

Nice Domains but in reality the domain name is the last thing I would concern myself with when it comes to SEO.
Content
Title tags
Meta description
Links using your main keywords
These are all thousands of times more important than the domain name.

I totally agreed with the statement, there are lots of words which can be added even you can create links like this:
yourdomain.com/keyword
But in my opinion keyword rich domains plays a vital role as many users directly enter keywords in address bar and press Ctrl+Enter.
Apart of this think, if I am looking for estate markets in UK, then also I never type The UK Estate Markets or A UK Estate Markets. Achieving higher rankings is also comparatively easy in case of keyword rich domain name.
Feel free to share your thoughts.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I totally agree with your point that only domain name is not the only thing to be on top of search engines. Of course other things are also needed.
But it's sure search engines gives priorities to keyword rich domain names.
Lets take an example of my domain name: estatemarkets.com
It's a blog with 2 blog post only and it's coming by following keywords:
* estate markets=> Rank 1
* Search Volume => 9,900/mo
Feel free to share your thoughts.

I personally disagree. If you can find a domain with one of your keywords, that's golden. In this day and age (April, 2010) you need a solid domain - if not, you better have some award winning content and traffic to rank.
Don't get me wrong - content IS KING, but there are fundamental steps to help..

Thanks for sharing your thoughts, I also agree that at the end content is king and it's possible to be on top of search engines by any keywords if SEO and promotion is done.
But the fact is it's far more easy to be on top of search engines if you have a keyword rich domain.
