    Default New to SEO

    Hello,
I am trying to do some SEO for my site jupiterfloridahomesforsale I understand about backlinks and keywords. But what are some things you would suggest I do to my site? If I get rid of my link exchanges will I fall in the Search Engine rankings?

Things you need to consider with regards to Search Engine Optimization (SEO):

On-Page Optimization (its done within your site): it deals with the proper use of title tags, meta tags, description, alt attributes (use when describing images), keywords, heading tags (h1/h2) and robots.txt.

Off-Page Optimization (its done outside your site): it deals with building links. It is responsible for creating quality of back links.

I just took a look at your site and am wondering how well it converts and ranks in SERPs. From my inspection I would say it needs alot of work to become an asset rather than simply being a online business card. I would be more than happy to help you out in getting things rocking and rolling. Shoot me a PM if you would like help.

I believe Google does not care much about on-page optimization but it does not hurt to implement it. There are a lot of link building strategies you can implement for your website. You can start with blogging, then move on to directory submission, article submission, forum marketing, blog commenting and etc.

I think you should start with onpage optimization as still Google care about the page content as they can see your bounce rate and take it into consideration.

Default On page - important again!

On page optimization has become very important again. Google is looking at following factors on your page:

    1. Load Speed.
    2. Content positioning and readability
    3. First Link Priority (FLP)
    4. Links out VS Links in

You will probably see that after Christmas many people will start panic because Google is about to make some changes in their internal page ranking methods.

But for now, these are the factors to consider seriously. Link building is still a strong factor but it is also has changed because "nofollow" links will be treated by Google differently.

    Default A FEW TIPs

    Ellen,

I just looked at your site and these are things I would suggest you may do:

    1. Create universal link paths rather than relatives on the entire site.
    2. Use keyword rich <ALT> tags for your images.
    3. I would rename some of the website pages and use redirects, but that could be too technical if you haven't done that before.
    4. I strongly recommend to get away from frames on your site, it doesn't serve well your rankings, especially the way it is set up now.
    5. How about some blogging?
    6. You have too many outgoing links from your home page and not enough incoming links to give your home page the most "link juice" - a technical term
    7. You can remove <keyword> tag from the head of your pages, it doesn't do you any good, but your competitors are very happy to look at it.

These are a few things you should start with.

    Talking Seo tips

1-) use a seo software to revise all details of your website for on-page optimisation. It can be IBP promoter or anything which is useful.

2- Put your every single page with title keywords in to the social bookmarking sites.

3-) Only link exchange with relevant established sites which their domains are older than 3 years. It will be trustable referance to your page.

4-) Always update your website before the search engine index your webpage. I can say it is the key !!!! and more important than anything that you will do.

My website only has pr 2 but ranks on the first page of google in '' Istanbul Property'' among 20.000.000 search results. I can guarantee that your site will be ranked as you wish if you do it firmly.

5-) Be member of relevant content forums and article websites. It gives you the chance of having one way backlink

I can tell more and more but these are basics and first to do.

    Hope it helps.
