Hi, every one here I am explaining about how to get page rank for ur website and how to increase traffic to ur website. u just follow all these rules

1. select important keyword in title tag and it should be meaningfull.
2. take important keywords according to your website and add in meta tag.
3. take meaning full description. what is ur website and what services it providing.
4. in body for head line take h1 tag or bold. but prefer h1 tag.
5. in body of the content follow some rules
a. take keyword density
b. keyword proximity
c. keyword prominanace
d. keyword frequency
U have to ensure that whether these are there r not.

For increasing traffic to your web site u can submit articles, press release, forums, blogs and directory submission. while submitting u have to mention ur track back url for important keywords.

Tips on link building and how to get high PR:
On-Page - it is a process of optimizing within your site.. It deals with the proper use of title tags, meta tags, alt-tags (use to describe images), description, h1/h2 tags (headings), and keywords.
Off-Page - its process of optimizing outside from your site. It actually deals with building links. Some of the strategies like blog commenting, social bookmarking, press release, classified ads, forum posting (link signature) and link exchange fall under this category..

What you have mentioned are just "SEO ON page Optimizations" which is also the key in higher ranking.
To increase traffic you need to get more backlinks and internal link of course.
Directory submission, forums, blogging, social bookmarking, and social media can help you with that goal.

I say what Nicole_REOs says. Every word is absolutely correct. In addition I'd say for backlinks works fine but you have to continuously work on it. It changes rank every minute depends upon most recent backlinks.
