Living without lease agreement is there any dangers for me?
I live in my apartment for month so far and landlord did not sign agreement with me i guess they forgot. Its in Los Angeles.
I dont really care unless this situation has any disadvantages for me?
P.S. I think i read article about someone living in industrial loft in new york without lease agreement as well and they just stop paying the rent and leagally no one could ask them to because they had no lease. or smth so perhaps its even to my benefit?
I mean probably they evict me but i dont have to pay legally if no lease right?

No Lease
Just because you don't have a lease, doesn't mean you don't have to pay. You have a verbal lease which stands just as strong in court as a written lease.

Best to have a lease
The lease is designed to protect the renter as well as the landlord. What if they decide to ask you too leave you have no recourse in Alabama, so I would check with a local professional to in sure your rights are protected.

better have it in BLack and whIte
Every transaction should always be written in black and white and notarized if possible, what if your landlord suddenly decides to increase the lease? Or decide to throw you away? At least if its written in black and white you can have something to show to authorities.

Written lease agreement makes everything clear for tenants and also it set expectations. Besides, if agreement is done verbally, it may cause conflicts and misunderstanding between the landlord and tenant.

30 day exit
no lease and you're worried? you can leave anytime with 30-days notice. The landlord is the one that holds all the cards if you are under a year lease

no danger
You are living in what is called a "tenant at will". Depending on the State, there are laws that typically say your Landlord has to grant you 30 days notice if he ever wanted to change the deal.. For Example: raising rent, eviction, etc.
