Default Whats the Best Place in Florida to buy/rent a Condo?

    Hey Guys,

I am thinking of purchasing a condo soon in Florida to hopefully rent out for part of the year. I figure now would be a good time if any to buy and wanted to get some opinions on locations that would be good. I have heard that the biggest price drops are in deerfield and north miami. Are these locations ok, or cheaper simply because crime is an issue? What other locations are good as well? Any opinions would be much appreciated! Just looking to get a general idea of what to start researching and what the best locations to rent in this state would be. Thanks in advance!

Anna Maria Island is one of the prettiest places in Western Florida (google maps it.) Depends what you're looking for really, do you want it to be purely in a nice location or near to schools, doctors, town etc?

Really I'm open to any geographic area so long as renting out the unit will not be a hassle. Also, I guess price is a factor as well. Ideally, I am looking to spend anywhere from 50-100k probably for a 2 bedroom 2 bath. Is there a high vacancy rate for condo rentals in Florida at the moment? I want to make sure that I will have no problem renting it out. If you have any suggestions on where I can find figures about vacancy rates I would appreciate the help. Thanks for the reply!
