    hello......

Actually I am not in favor of packing party...... I believe that Packing the thing for relocation is a very important task and that should be done by less people say you guys who are relocating and a couple of friends or relatives only.... that would be better for packing not be very messy....

If you want all to say good bye and meet all before you move, you can give a Good Bye party to meet all.....

I have never given so much attention to this event as I have thought it's only my personal affair and I shouldn't involve anyone else.

Moving is a lot of work, much more than you would think. It's great to have friends and family that can help you move into or out of your home.

Its good that your family and friends help you for moving but I don't think that you should call so many people for packing your stuff. It will messed up as it is difficult to know where your necessary things are packed and by whom.

If you are planning to have a packing party, you will have to get all the packing supplies in advance. Most moving companies will recommend that you use strong boxes, with heavy duty cardboard or double walls. A great place to get these boxes would be local restaurants and hospitals, two places that use heavy duty boxes for their shipments. Sometimes they give them away for free too! Or maybe you could take your party there with you!
