Anybody want some free ads?
Got a new site up, kind of low on listings right now, but that has more to do with availability of contacts than anything. Seems there is a bad time for everything.
As I said, not much on the site right now, but I expect it to grow, especially giving out completely free listings until the end of Sunday October 26, 2008.
Normal listings price no more than $29.95 each, and can get as low as $6 each if you buy in bulk. So getting in now sure helps while we're giving away listings.
ALL listings get the following features standard:
- Virtual Tour 360
- Up to 10 photos
- Videos
- Automated PDF Flyer and Web Brochure Generation - Both Printable
- Floor Plan Uploads
- Embedded Google Map with Satellite view on Each Listing Page
- Property Descriptions, use your knowledge to make them SEO for best results
- On page Contact Form and Email To Friend Form for each listing
- Each listing gets an easily seen Listing ID number so you can tell people to go there for property details. It's as easy this: Go to myhomeseeker.com and search for listing ID #xxxx. That search can be made from any page on the site.
- If the property is listed on the MLS, you can include the MLS Listing ID number as well.
- You can enter a website for each listing.
Some more details you might want:
- Realtors and agents can register as Agents, and upload a personal photo, and a company logo, with detailed contact info
- Multiple, Relevant categories to place listings into
- Registration is required, to track and manage your account and listings, but it is completely free at all times to register.
Aside from all that, you'll find AdSense banners in place, those are simply to fill space while we are working more on getting traffic and advertising setup. Advertising partnerships will come soon to replace those.
We even have a referral program so you can make money for referrals you send to the site.
The owner of the site is a broker, and has a mortgage company in Florida. Doing this more to help the economy and those struggling with it than to make money, hence the low cost per listing.
Getting very targeted SEO setup, free and paid, so traffic is coming. Also have a small workforce hammering out ads, emails, and phone calls, and a couple (DFW, Texas & Vero Beach, Florida) putting out Coroplast signs every weekend to get more traffic, and business.
Go check out the site, create a couple of listings. As someone else pointed out on here in another thread, it takes time, but as more content is added, more business will come.
Getting in now just gives you guys the chance to try before you buy.
You can actually post 100 listings for free, if you can get them posted within a week from now. Give it a shot.
The link to the site is in my signature.

Just an update. We're still doing free listings. Building inventory on the site is important to us for traffic, so we're eating the costs right now.
You get all the features listed above, and you get your listings for free. That means any free listings created will have all the same features of paid listings, and you'll never have to pay for the listings.
All the listings are until sold/rented.
Could use some folks in all states who want some extra exposure. If it's free, what do you have to lose?

If I were to register today, how long do I have to post ads for free? I don't have any listings that I need to post there now, but I can definitely see a use down the road.

Well, because of the obvious benefits of having plenty of listings for visitors to browse, we're doing our best just to build inventory right now. Up to a few hundred right now with another 200 guaranteed by the weekend from two other realtors in the north east.
So we're determining the end of the promotion based on inventory.
I would guess that next week we start charging for listings, but the owner is planning on running another promotion for half off to start with. But that could change to being the week after. Either way, if you post a listing during the free promotion, you'll never be charged for that listing.
It'll be posted on the site when we're going to end the promo, and if interested, I'll post an update here a few days before we close it out as well.

For anyone interested, the free promotion is now over and we are charging $20.00 for a listing. Less per listing if you need bulk amounts, we have packages of 10 and unlimited for a year.
The unlimited package lasts one year for $350.00 and covers all agents in a single office, unlimited listings.
We've also made some huge upgrades to the site to offer features and services, including a service directory. Check it out.
