This works great for our office, passing along the word
Hello
I appreciate that Send Out Cards isn't for you and e-mails are a better option for Client Retention, Customer Referrals and Follow Ups. I could agree but know for a fact how effective Send Out Cards can be.
Tom Hopkins is a HUGE card sender. In three years he transformed his real estate business to 98% referrals. That is a huge testimonial to the power of the personal touch that comes from card sending.
You are aware that if a buyer has bought a home over two years ago, they can't remember the name of the Realtor?
Did you also know that for every month that goes by without contact from you, you lose 10% of your influence with your client?
With the average buying and selling cycle of homes being 3-5 years, it's critical that one must have a long-term keep in touch strategy.
I know you are as busy as I am and we need something simple.
Send Out Cards is a perfect solution. Some of the features of the system include:
*the ability to send 1 card or 500 cards in just minutes!!!
* personal font and signatures
* add digital pictures to your card to customize & personalize.
Send Out Cards enables you to upload business cards and logos too.
This is a fabulous way for you to keep in touch with your clients easily and effectively. Simply, it is the greatest relationship tool there is.
Please reply or email me at anytime and I will show you the power this system will have for your business

Thank you for your tip Jay in regards to client retention utilizing send out cards. It is very true that buyers and even renters need reminders as they cannot remember the Realtor name they worked with in the past.

sending out cards
Owners do forget us if we dont keep in touch. So its great to also send out anniversary cards to properties sold in the area by other agents. You can become their new agent..

Thats a very good point, the more you can get your name out there and put your face in front of as many homeowners and potentials, the better you can build a big business. Its a great product

Speaking as a home buyer (bought my first house 6 years ago), I still remember my agent's name, she was awesome and would recommend her to anyone considering buying a house. Unfortunately, she exited the business.
There are folks from her office that will send us cards from time to time. However, in all honesty, those get quickly tossed as junk mail.
With that said, I think the key (at least for me) is to make a personal connection. I really don't care about the occasional card with a signature in it. If you go to all the work to create a relationship with my as your client and get to know me and my family, then keep that connection and do more than just send a card. Send me an email once in a while and ask to get a cup of coffee and catch up, etc. You can keep it professional with a personal touch so that I know that I am not just another sale to you or you are just nagging for a referral. I take the same approach with all the various professionals I deal with. I can still tell you the name of the guy I bought my car from 6 years ago. Why? Because he was professional, yet gave the personal touch so that even today, I would send people his way.
Of course you can't do this with every single client as the time constraints would be too big, but a personal touch can go a long way.
I cannot speak for everyone, but that is my feeling on the matter.
