We all know that right now the real estate market is in a down fall. Alot of people are losing their homes. That is scary. Are you concerned about not being able to pay your morgage and losing you home? You can try to avoid foreclosure. I came across this website that has this ebook on how to avoid foreclosure.

Do you mean the government site Making Home Affordable? Since that is the safest way to find out about loan modifications without being taken advantage of by some scam artisit?

Is not that simple
In many situations this is very hard to avoid.Unfortunatelly many people were seduced by the low interest rates, without realising that they will go up.It's unfortunate to see again that greed took again over the long term customer care.

One way to avoid
foreclosure is to try and modify your loan. It is extremely important to gather all the correct information and present a hardship to the bank. One key point is that you must be behind 3 payments. If you remain current most banks wont even talk to you!
There is always a short sale which will help you save your credit compared to a foreclosure!

Another option is...
to sell the property through a short sale. Most of the time we can complete negotiations within 45 days instead of 3 to 6 months.

I guess that most ebook authors on the subject of `avoiding foreclosure' are actually advocating good preventive measures and not solutions to wiggle out of an existing situation. My 2 cents.

I would still suggest checking out the government website before downloading anything. The government website is full of helpful information, including how to avoid scams.
The government's website Making Home Affordable is a hassle free way to get useful info regarding foreclosure, short sales & loan modifications. Do not sign any paperwork or agree to work with anyone until after you check out the government's website.
Sadly there are many preying on homeowners that are in trouble. Beware!Mark Brian Silver Star Real Estate
