Dirty Little Secret
The dirty little secret of the real estate industry is collusion between unethical home inspectors and unethical Realtors. Either one being unethical is NOT enough to defraud the unsuspecting and trusting home buyer, it takes both.
When selecting a home inspector buyers are advised to find one who agrees NOT to:
1. Allow agents to influence how we convey inspection findings to clients.
2. Give "sales" presentations to real estate agents about our inspection services.
3. Reward or compensate agents for referring clients.
4. Produce any marketing material designed for or aimed at agents.
5. Actively solicit real estate agents with the intent of obtaining inspection referrals.
How many home inspection companies in in New Jersey agree to the above? EIGHT yes that is correct in a state with eight million people you must search for one in a million.
Accurate Inspections, Inc. has a free home inspection check list on their web site at: http://www.AccurateInspections.com/n...nchecklist.htm and can be reached at 973-812-5100Home Inspector Michael Del Greco is President of Accurate Inspections, Inc., a New Jersey Home Inspection firm. He has performed thousands of home inspections in New Jersey. He has taught the New Jersey Home Inspector CEU & Licensing classes and help in developing questions for the National Home Inspector Exam.
