How much do you spend...
I'm interested in getting a general idea of how much time and money real estate professionals are spending on their online presence. A few quick questions for you:
1. How much did it cost you to develop your website?
2. How much does it cost you to maintain and market your website each month?
3. How much time do you spend marketing your website and services online each month?
Details are also appreciated. Many thanks.Save on advertising, grow your business, get better quality leads. Join Habidoo.com today.

1) I do it myself, but my time is money... so I guess $7 - 9k depending on how I value my own time...

2) Between $500 - $5,000.
3) Between 5 - 20 hours / month (online only).
Am I spending too much?

Good call on the 'time is money' thing! To answer your question, I would say that if you're getting a lot of business then you're doing a good job and your time is well spent. But if you're not happy with the business you're getting from your $7,500 - $14,000, then there are many alternatives out there...buy a template site, start a blog and link to your MLS listings, join a community, and many more.
Bottom line is Do What Works while spending the least amount of time and money! By the way, how many leads do you normally get from your site?Save on advertising, grow your business, get better quality leads. Join Habidoo.com today.

Mondinion.com is still a quite new website, but we are already averaging 4-500+ uniques every day. As I am not an agent, I do not quite count the leads, Mondinion.com is a place where agents, realtors and property owners can meet worldwide investors and buyers, so far the response rate is acceptable, but I am constantly working on getting more and more leads for posters.

I recently stumbled across a website that has been really inexpensive and very helpful for my career. It is a society for apartment owners and anything apartment-related. you can advertise yourself or company on there, plus there are forums that you can access to discuss real estate related topics and receive possible leads. It helped me because once an apartment owner is happy with your work, you will be getting referral after referral. Use this website to your advantage and get ahead in the game, we all know networking and marketing is key in this business
use your search engine to find the site: American Apartment Owners Association

Referral.
If you like, i could refer you to someone that makes really good sites. Maintenance does not cost much. Typically you will be the one doing most of it.
The best things in life are free also applies to marketing. You will be surprised how far just word of mouth can get you.Find everything @ www.yourfindit.com
