    Default What Is Link Juice

Many of my clients have heard this term and constantly ask, what the heck is Link Juice? So, I decided to make a post here to explain the term a bit better. I have also included some good information on link building as well.. I hope this helps to paint a better picture! If you find this information helpful, please take a moment to leave a comment. I enjoy helping people and like to know that my efforts are appreciated.
    What is Link Juice
The world of the Internet is essentially made up of websites. These websites refer to all kind of topics, no matter what kind of information you want you will get it from the Internet. Information is power and the Internet is the vessel that you can use to your advantage in getting this power. However, even in the world of the Internet not every website has the same privilege and status as others.
Let us consider an example to better understand the working of the Internet and how different websites are ranked. Imagine the Internet as an army. In the army there are thousands of personnel but not everyone have the same status. There are Captains, Majors, Colonels and Generals. All of these have been promoted to different ranks according to the work they have performed over the time period of their service. The Generals are the oldest and the most experienced of them all and thus enjoy the highest level of privileges. Also due to their vast experience everyone turns towards them for knowledge.
Same is the case with websites found over the Internet. The websites are ranked according to different criteria. There are those that have been recently launched and then there are those that are one of the oldest websites. There are those that are popular and thus enjoy lots of traffic and on the other hand are those that have little or almost no traffic at all. All of these factors combine together to rank a website.
There is another important factor over the Internet concerning the ranking of websites and it is the search engines. There are hundreds of search engines working on the Internet. The most interesting thing is that not all of these have the same criteria to ranking a website. It is only for this reason that different search engines rank the same website differently. If a website is amongst the top 10 websites according to one search engine then it is not necessary that it will have the same ranking on other search engine, it is even more likely that it might not even be amongst the top 100 websites according to the second website. If you take a closer look on the ranking system (algorithm) of a search engine you will realize that the top websites mostly fall under one of the following categories:

It is a search engine optimization (SEO) “slang” term that has gone viral in recent years. Specifically, the link juice definition refers to how much benefit a link passes on or the quality of inbound links a website has. This influences a website’s ranking in the search engines. In Google, PageRank is approximately the same concept as link juice.

link juice is everything that you are looking for, in the number of people that provide links to your pages. The more links you have, especially from well-linked places, the greater your visibility and web page rankings become.
