    Default Contact Management System

Anyone have any opinions on what the best CMS would be..ie..Top Producer or what. It needs to be internet based and would allow for team use with each team member having their own access and database. I need to use this to assign leads to each agent and be able to access their database as an admin.

    Your help is appreciated.

If what you need do is "assign leads to each agent and be able to access their database as an admin," I would modify open-realty. Open realty can handle all your in-house listings, assign them to agents, have follow-through with register clients plus many tasks you haven't thought about. It would not be difficult to modify to tract agents and if you found you need something else in the future you would be able to add it on. The problem I find with most commercial solutions is rigidity of the software, you have to do things the way the software developers envision doing them which often means rather than the software fitting your needs you have to adjust your needs and methods to fit the software.

Thanks, real estate is tough when you get a lot of leads and without the right tools to admin the leads it makes it either difficult on the assistants or the agents. I am trying to find someway to resolve this issue between the both of them and make this a win win for everyone involved.

    Thumbs up

Wayne let me know what solution you like! Also, If you could find out if it will store all the clients specific dates such as Birthdays, Anniverseries and childrens names and Birthdays that would be great! I was told that Top Producer does but I don't know that for sure! Also what type of costs Top Producer is about 35 a month for a single user!

The program is free, it takes about 1/2 to set up and the learning curve is about 4-5 hours if you want to do it yourself. You can add as many fields as you need from the user database for agents and clients from that admin area.

The addition that LVG wants is something that might need to be contracted out, but there is a large pool of programmers who work with open realty so getting competitive bids would not be a problem. If you can develop the concept well enough then coding for it is easy. About a year ago I put out a concept for an open house model and last week someone picked up on it wrote the code for it in a couple of hours.

I have have made several modifications myself and have farmed out for other. I mostly work with the templating system now and I built the css/xhtml default template for version 2 which will be out soon.

    Default Goldmine

I am working with Goldmine software. It seems to be able to perform all the tasks mentioned.

I'm stil learning it, but I think it will be good to work with.

It's only about $200 to purchase, and $40 per year to get automatic updates.

I can find a link I was sent which gives a 10% discount.
