I think SEO is still actual and you can try all possible marketing methods. For example, press release, direct mailing and even Facebook and Twitter. But you should do it regularly and all the time.

Value of SEO
I believe SEO is still important however, quality and quantity are probably more valuable. For example, I have a small website that I've been running for a few years which generates about 30 unique visitors per day, I've spend thousands of dollars on SEO but because I don't have much content I still only get minimal traffic. A few weeks ago I put a new site online at gotagent.info which is still in beta testing but has over 1,000,000 pages. Only a few have gotten indexed by google but I am now receiving an average of 140 unique visitor per day.
To summarize, you can do all the offsite SEO you want but at the end of the day it's about content.Looking for a realtor in Minnesota? How about a Missouri realtor in St. Louis or Kansas City? Agents Ranking researches the performance of thousands of real estate agents every year and hand selects the best realtors. You can also find information on Minneapolis Realtors at Minneapolisrealestates.com.

Do all the SEO techniques if you are familiar with them. But be careful with what you blogs, articles and comments contains with. It can make your image better or put in ruin. Using facebook and twitter are really effective, wide users are now online in those social networking sites. And SEO is the best way of marketing products, but that's not the only way there are lots of ways in which you can market you product. Just be familiar with that.

For real estate internet marketing having some form of lead capture is important. It's great to get lots of traffic, but you need ways to convert that traffic into leads.

Do a lot of off-site optimizing, and have a great site full of content users will value. Post updates as your site progresses as we would be interested in hearing the results.
