Thread title should be changed to include the word: "relevant"

Just jacking up traffic to your site, that doesn't end up converting to a paying customer - doesn't mean anything.

You could rank #1 for "how to make an inflatable blowup doll" - but unless you are selling them, it doesn't put money in your wallet.

I really think they help. Press releases do just about the same thing.

Promoting the website to online classified ads, forums, yahoogroups, youtube, social networking sites such as facebook, myspace, twitter do help.
