Does anyone here have any success stories with testing landing pages for their websites?

What specific questions do you have about the landing pages?
I setup tons of landing/squeeze pages all the time and you different split testing tools to see which one performs the best. If you are not doing PPC then you don't have to worry so much about the landing page being optimized for keywords.

You must test your landing pages consistantly, otherwise you will have no real idea of how things work. Try a simple A/B split test with Google Optimiser, its free and you can then start to refine each page according to the results you get. When you get the hang of that you can start to run much more complex tests.

Your landing page be precise. The landing page must have links to other web pages. Make your landing page informative and contains relevant keywords - a landing page that is full of beautiful graphics but not enough text will be slap by google.
