These are all good solid ways to market your service. However, marketing comes down to the cost per lead and cost per sale. You need to choose the market techniques that lower your cost per lead and cost per sale. If you print a lot of brochures and mail them out, the cost of printing and mailing can be very high.

Real estate is extremely competitive. You have to figure out the most cost-effective marketing to survive and thrive, especially in a slow market.

    Default The most effective way

and less cost is by having a website and creating a mail list. Offer something FREE that home owners or sellers might want a copy of and they will submit their email address and make a relevant newsletter and make that one on one trust relationship that will lead to sales.

To me this is targeted traffic and will keep the costs down if your just starting out.

I don't think social networking sites will work. I would rather start a blog and make relevant articles. Do some SEO to create traffic to your site.
