Default Best tools to market online.

My favorite tool to use when marketing my website is writing a great article and then posting it to articlecity.com. Ofcourse the article should be posted on your website first. I would have it posted on my website for about a week (after google crawls it) then I would publish it on articlecity with my webpage attached. This will generate tons of free traffic. And all it takes is an hour of writing.

Since articlecity.com and other article submission sites are authority sites, Google might penalized your site as duplicate content if you leave the article on your site. Better not to leave your article on your site or not submit it and give your site freshness and uniqueness that will boost your SERP ranking instead of traffic...

There are no duplicate "penalties" from Google in a case like this. They will choose one site to give the major share of credit for the content to and others who pick it up will get less. But there's no penalty.

Default Just think of it like this..

If people get penalized for having articles from articlecity on their site.. Why would webmasters go and grab articles from there? And why would there be a concept like articlecity in the first place?

who would post their material if they'll be penalized..

Article marketing in general whether for selling a house or otherwise is great for promoting anything online and as long as you are careful and do not list the same article in 50 plus places, there is no problem.

You are generating traffic by article submission great. But I am afraid as other said that it will count as copy content and can hurt website.

    Default If article is original

content, and written by you, there is no double penalty from Google.

Top article directories like Ezine Articles thoroughly check to make sure there is no other article out there before they submit it.

I agree is helps with back links but disagree with tons of traffic. In my experience I have written several original articles and don't see much traffic from it.

I agree that posting an original article is a great way to bring traffic to your site. From the research I did, you should at least post one unique article daily.

Default Should I be wary of duplicate content?

Don't worry about duplicate content when submitting articles. There is a lot of misinformation on this topic.
