Print ads are not very effective. They are quite expensive as well. The biggest problem is "who do you send these beautiful prints to?" When we sell fractional ownership homes, we need to target those who are in the upper income level. If you mail out postcards to the mass, you are wasting a lot of money. But if you are well-positioned on the internet, those who look for you will find you, instead of you finding them.

Print advertising can be effective if you do your research. Before you print up postcards and mail them to the mass's you need a plan.

Using a professional list company is very good use of your money.

One of our forum members mentions they sell fractional ownerships. Some potential lists to purchase are: Current Timeshare Owners, High end Golfers, Skiers etc. Mailing to a niche market will increase your responses.

I've used mailers for years and when you use a professional mailing company it can be cost effective.
