Newsletters are the most cost effective way to drive traffic to your site when you have something that is quality that you want to tell your list about.
If you are not using email newsletters you are throwing money away!

News letters can help your site gain traffic, and I think that's one good technique in web marketing.. You'll informing the readers that there something new on your website and don't forget to include the lines "Don't miss this" so readers may be curious on what's going on in your site..

good point about a catch line, like dont miss this. Something you should really avoid is using the "click here" line. spam filters could pick up the email and delete it without the user getting to read your important email.

If they are done properly and sent to the right customer, it can very well sell a home for you. Make a list of your customers and their price ranges/interests. Match them together with homes you think fit what they want and send the newsletter to them featuring those homes.

This sounds like an interesting idea. If you do newsletters, they have to offer something that can't be found anywhere else. If the newsletter is some generic advice, not a lot of people would care enough to read. Writing the newsletter requires some serious commitment, but it can be a solid marketing technique.

Yep, it might seem like a lot of work, but if you make a newsletter with one section that can easily be changed you can divide your distribution list into three categories of buyers. For each category, change your newsletter to feature different types of homes (and price ranges). These tailor-made newsletters might pique the interest of the buyer more rather than a generic newsletter that shows houses they could never afford.
