Postlets.com is a free classified ad creation and syndication for real estate, rentals and even cars. I decided to check it out. When I got there I noticed it was FREE!! Signing up is easy. All they want is your username, password and email address followed by an activation e-mail. Great!! So i got to work and to my surprise it was very easy to use. Once you register you can start creating your ads. There are 6 steps to creating an ad syndication on Postlets.

First Step: Contact Info
This information will show up on your ad. Then it asks for the property address and the city you want to post to on craigslist. I thought it just created the ad and you post it yourself.. Nope. It pretty much posts it for you.

Second Step: Property Details
Here is where it gets even cooler. Since I provided the property address in step 1. Step 2 automatically inserts the SQFT, land size and the number of bedrooms and bathrooms the property has. Postlets is directly connected to zillow.com which automatically updates the info for you!

Step Three: Features and Links
In step three you list all of the features your property has. Such as Pool, BBQ area, Tennis, waterfront and so on. It will also give you an area to write a full property description along with a link to the properties virtual tour and/or a link to additional property information.

Step Four: Photos
Postlets allows 6 FREE photos to be uploaded along with a description of the photo (you can upload more for a small fee).

Step Five: Review Details
No explanation here. This is where you make sure you have the correct property information and pictures before you finish. You can edit in this area as well.

Step Six: Display and Distribution
Your ad is now complete and active. This is when you are given the opportunity to change the color and look of your ad. The last step also provides you with the HTML code, Craigslist post, and the ability to syndicate your ad on it's sister sites such as Google Base, Oodle, Hotpads, Trulia, Zillow, vast and others.

I will definitely continue to use postlets when advertising for my customers. I hope you find it as helpful as I did.
