The Problem With Real Estate Marketing
The problem with real estate marketing in this real estate crisis is that everyone is using the same marketing methods when it was the good times. I'm sorry to say that those methods are no longer working. You need proven real estate marketing techniques that gets buyers and sellers pounding on your doors to take you on as a client. Look around at the methods and the ads etc. Everyone is screaming the same thing expecting great results. With a sound marketing plan you're making more money for your self and your helping your client sell or buy their dream home.

Marketing methods
Hi,
I am in total agreement with you. Brokerage companies and agents need to track their marketing efforts to filter out those that don't work any longer. It is also very important to educate the sellers, as it is not only the real estate industry that needs to adapt, but so do the property owners. They need to understand that some of the old methods of marketing just don't cut it anymore. I see alot of agents forced into certain types of advertising because that is what their client expects.
So, what types of marketing are you doing that have people knocking down your door? :-)

The best way to build yourself a solid reputation as a succesful agent to get buyers and sellers pounding on your doors to take you on as a client. As it has always been.

It is an excellent point. Still a lot of folks in real estate haven't come to the realization that many of the old marketing techniques they learned 20 years ago no longer work. So many people are so slow in adopting the new changes. The internet is a big market place, but if you look at real estate company's websites or agents' websites, you will find plenty of sites that lack information, look unprofessional, and offer no incentive for visitors to initiate a contact.

I am still having fantastic success using niche domains with drivers off small classified ads. For example when running ads for investment properties I use my Incomehomes.com domain. I bought up domains for every niche and the public believes that if your theforeclosuresman.com that you must be the expert.
