No it is not. There is nothing in Google's TOS that says you cannot do this.

Also remember to put alt tags on all of the pictures in your blog or on your website. As you may know, Google reads text not pics. Alt tags allow Google recognize your snapshots as meaningful content and boost your keyword ratio.

Another trick is to enter a web search for a keyword combination you'd like your site to come up on. Visit one of the top sites that comes up in that search and click on "view" then "page source" in your internet browser. Unless they've hidden their code, see what your top search competition is doing with their keywords, site description and page title (which pops up at the top of the browser window). DON'T copy their code, but DO get some ideas for your own site.

I see you are doing double duty here and at REW. 3-ways are gray hat not black hat. The poster is wrong about them being undetectable by google. Not to long ago HHI Golfer made a post of how he visited a confrence of some sort by google where they showed everyone how they can detect 3-way links just as easily as reciprical links. Neither recips or 3-ways are specifically banned but if you have to many of them you will get penalized.

Dont just think about blogging you should blog. Mr. Cutts from google answered that creating a blog on your website was the best way to SEO white hat style.

Not sure if domain age does matter.
I have a 10y/o domain with no traffic and a brand new one doing 70 uniques/day already...
I guess it's question of promoting it, not the age...

I have new domains beating out old domains. Age of the domain is just one small piece of the algorithm just like all the other things you hear.
