Default Are drop cards worth it??

I have been researching marketing tools the past few days and came across the 100 dollar bill drop card. Its a neat idea but just wanted to know if anyone has used it and have you had success with it.I saw two websites offering 1000 drop cards that look like 100 dollar bills that you can throw around in heavily populated areas with a small but vague note as to what your marketing on the inside along with a contact number. The main thing that turned me off was the price. 2 sites were charging prices I cant afford . 1 was selling 1000 cards for 200 bucks and another was selling 1000 cards for 400 bucks!!!! WHOA!!!

You know what they say it take money to make money. I used to do mass mailings and it would cost me 300 to send 500 postcards. I did the math, I was able to get two listings out of the 500 sent so it was worth it. It 200 bucks is alot of money maybe real estate isn't for you.

I would go to your local print store or Printfellas.com and tell them that you want that exact same thing with 1000 cards and I bet they could get you a lower price. (Don't get caught for littering when you throw the cards down!)

I print flyers, it cost me 1 cent/piece (paper and ink) and put them on the doors. 2 hours/day of excercise and $40 for 4000 pieces (average per month used) bringing an average of 2.5 closing/month that way...
