Website Branding
Here's a quick idea that most Realtors don't normally think of. Make sure to mention your domain name on your telephone voice mails. Cheers!

There is a pro and con to that. If you do, which I have in the past, people may not leave you a message and go to your site instead. Then again, they may go to your site and login to a search or some other info on your site. 6 of one, 1/2 dozen the other

I am with Rob on this one. I would much rather have a phone contact than one through my website. It would be like taking a step backwards to send them from calling me to my site IMHO.

I agree that a phone call is always better, but it's also a safety net for those like me, who don't like to leave messages. So I would agree it is probably a personal preference.

I personally think website is the first stage of getting client.. the second stage to make them call or fill out your contact form....
If they already call you, no need to make them go back to stage one...
But it may be good for a caller who will not leave a message.....+ Branding as mentioned....

I think the hard part is finding a host that you like, and is affordable. I just use godaddy, cause I dont mind. I heard Myers was good, anyone use them?

I think leaving your site on your voicemail will be purely advertising.
You may get to the point - the call/calling back/etc - and then tell that, BTW, I get a site and it's www. blahblah....
I think people will record their msg anyway AND they'll get a chance to visit your site...

I just see a lot of realtors who own a website but don't advertise it in their ad copy, business cards, or flyers. Sure you want a call, but most people don't want to be sold. In this day and age people want to research and then buy.
