Default Marketing Ideas for LIVE CHAT Website

I am a realtor and I have patented a live chat technology which enables home searchers and real estate agents chat.

I have fallen short of marketing ideas. The real estate community has signedup for my chat technology but I am not getting enough hits. I am thinking of going for PPC. Which sites would you recommend?

I assume then you are charging the real estate agents to be members?

How is this better for the realtors than them just having a forum or Live Chat feature on their own site?

Many webdesign templates/ companies now have a free forum & there is free/ and or cheap live chat software out there agents can just have in their own sites...

    AAO - sites?

I assume you're talking about content advertising. I wouldn't recommend doing "just" that off the bat. You should probably set up an account with all 3 major SE's, and create a few different ads in each account e.g. 3 ads in Google with 3 different titles and the same body - do this in each account. Figure out which SE's pull better results for your product. You'll get the most traffic from Google but you may get more buyers from Yahoo. Make sure you track CTR on all ads and use the best ad in each account. Then, start the testing process over, but this time try changing your body text. Don't change them daily - give each ad time to establish a trend, at least a week. You'll find that the more specific you are the better results you'll get e.g. New Homes will get 1000's of clicks and will waste tons of money but New Homes in Buckeye will pre-qual your visitors. You might want to hire someone to teach you how to handle PPC or you'll end up throwing thousands of dollars away. There is MUCH more to PPC than mentioned here.

Search for Arizona real estate, including Arizona Condos and Tucson Home Builders by visiting Arizona's real estate website today - New Homes Section.

I agree to that but what I have in plan here is to make my website findable to the searchers, so that users can find real estate agents on my website too. No harm in having traffic from 2 locations is there?

Great, that was thorough. I will keep all the advice in mind. I am planning to go for PPC in a limited way. Thx a lot for your advice.

    Default Live Chat - PPC

I'm assuming you are charging clients to use the Chat. Calculating the amount you want to pay for PPC traffic will depend on your expected conversion rate.

There are a great many PPC-specific forums/blogs out there so I recommend you investigate some of them.

You might also consider an affiliate program to reward others for driving traffic to your site.
