    Default 3% Base Rate

Hi, how will the hike in Interest Rates effect the US Market? There is, as you know a General Election going on over here, our base rate is 4.75% but indications are for a .25% hike afterwards.

What's the mood over there regarding to your upcoming elections? Does Blair look safe, or are you in for major changes?

Tony looks safe but he has lost a lot of credibility. For one, I've switched my vote to Liberal Democrats this time.

Hey Guys, Off Topic Firstly I predict 'A hung Parliment, or the Conservatives will just sneak in, or if Blair, does hold on his majority will be so slashed that he will have no other choice than to resign' That's covered the field
Now, could I have some replies to 3% Base rate over there please, will it make a difference?

    Thumbs up

CTABUK...I'm sure it will have some effect! However, with that being said everytime Greenspan has raised rates here over the last year it hasn't had a huge effect! We are still setting records and values are still esculating just mot quite as fast! Looks like Blair is hanging in!

Thanks for that, your post may well find itself in the UK media as I was asked to find out by a Google Alert article Cheers David
