Google is tough to get a good ranking on. You need many relevant inbound links to your site plus the usual key words, etc.

I've found that many of the social networking sites, including Squidoo, MySpace, StumbleUpon, and others are all great for getting inbound links to your primary site, thus improving your rankings.

Perhaps even more powerful than improving rankings is getting a new site indexed in the first place. Using the Social Networking sites to introduce your site gets the search engine spiders to your primary site FAST. After posting a blog post, for example, on my personal MySpace page, I've had sites indexed in less than 24 hours.

I agree. I came to Real Estate from IT and I first saw Google in early 2000 when people never heard of it. Anyway, they did so many things right and they are keeping that way. So, their success is very thought through. However, their AdSense program will help you to find solution -- just read it and try to use it.
