solutions4thenet.com--any users?
Hi, Just got a call from solutions4thenet.com offering to have our web site appear at the top of google, yahoo, and msn whenever someone searches for our keywords. They guarantee 30,000 hits to our site in 6 months or you get another 6 months free for $2,900ish. We're looking to increase our traffic to the site and it costs about the same as some farming and offline marketing we're doing which aren't delivering much. Our site has a good conversion ratio, so more traffic should result in more leads/transactions.
I'm looking for information from people who have actually used the service--was it worthwhile, did it increase your traffic and did the increased traffic increase the number of leads?
Thanks.
Mike

I'd be suspicious of any company that guarentees appearing in the top search results in any of the search engines. The only way to do that is with the pay per click adds on each engine, and you honestly can do that yourself on all of them.
Also consider how targeted your keywords and how big your target market is. With properly targeted key words (not overly general ones like 'real estate' that will generate lots of click from people you can't possibly serve), you won't have near as many clicks, but they will be much more relevant. Plus, do you think there are actually 30,000 people looking for your type of service in your market area? We've had the same offers, and for 30,000 valid clicks it would mean a click from virtually every homeowner in our county.
I'd sign up for google (the biggest) and try it out (without risking 2900 up front). You can pick all your keywords, set bid prices and a daily budget. Then you can controll your costs, see which adds are working, etc.
