The good old days are over.........
Here a few years ago a realtor could put a sign in any yard and you would have several people fighting over the listing. A bidding war would take place. I think alot of us in the real estate industry became complacent and for a lack of better words, got spoiled. Those that stuck with it are the agents that are strong and diversified their marketing efforts. The real estate industry is a tough place to be these days. I would like to know any ideas people have on marketing to renters. Specifically apartment renters? The market just seams to be a "first-time" buyer market again. Thoughts?

Bit unsure as to why you are marketing to renters. Do you want to convert them into home buyers? If so check out my techniques in "How to make $3000 with an email". In your squeeze page have how renters can escape the rental cycle and become an owner. Then market your sqeeze page in a local paper where your market is. Then start informing the renters of properties that suit their budget and criteria and grow your sales.

Phil,
Yes of course I want to turn the renters into home owners. The first-time home buyers market right now is huge. In fact the first-time home buyers are the ones that are keeping the real estate market from just imploding all together.

multiple streams of income
what if you could offer the buyer/renter a service that saves them money and allows you to cash multiple commissions every month as long as they live in the house.

Real estate agents nowadays are using other ways in getting people be listed for some open house. Mostly, since people are already using the internet to search for good property, those agents with online pages and showrooms get's the market. If you don't have it, I suggest you have a page as an agent too.
