How many of you do mail marketing and how long have you beendoing it. Also, how many of you get leads from your website. If you couldplease share your number of visits, inquires, contacts to appointments, andsales. I haven't done that yet but it's something to consider. One of the books I read uses that technique when farming an area.

Mail Marketing Vs. Online
I think using SEO for traffic is the best way for leads, mail marketing can be a cheap form of marketing but can be deemed as spam, unless it to do with relationship marketing because then you know your clients want your products.

Both is actually helpful and beneficial. Email marketing is good when you are a good copywriter and your writing really attract people to get to you.

Mail Marketing could have results if your audience is targeted. i.e. if you send it to people that are constantly investing or are looking to buy a house.
With all the social media networking around these days it is a lot cheaper and the marketing possibilities are bigger. Having an online presence that is well networked to your social media profiles and blogs is essential in todays market where most people have a "do it yourself" mindset

I think there is a lot of good input above, but I find that online marketing attracts mainly buyers (i.e. through SEO techniques). Direct mailers have a place, and I use direct mailers to target sellers in a particular farm area. You cannot easily target a geographic area with the internet. Direct mail and internet are two different tools in the real estate toolbox.

I personally think that both are still contributing well in terms of marketing your list of properties.
A lot of realtors and other agents still make use of mail marketing and still gets results and prospects from it.
Other do get some benefits too from online marketing.
So probably using both and knowing what they can both do for you is a good opportunity.Texas Real Estate CE | Texas MCE | New York Real Estate CE
