Default How to Start Real Estate Marketing?

    Hi guyz,

If you are looking to start marketing for your property, first of all you need to create a plan and determine your target audience. Is your home suitable for first-time buyers or is it a move-up home? What age range do your target buyers fall into? While you may be able to base your answers on personal experience, also review houses like yours, particularly if they've sold recently, to see who bought them. This is the group to whom you will direct most of your marketing activities.

I hope you will follow the basic information to start a property business.

Good tip. it's always important to target your market because if you market to everyone, you market to no one.

    Default Marketing a Home

There are all types of ways to market a home. I agree the first step is to see who the buyers would be for each home. When it comes to which types of marketing you choose to use for each home depends on the people you try marketing to and how you best market with your personal skills.

create a plan which should have all aspects on online marketing like (internet marketing pieces, social media, mobile marketing) and offline marketing like flyers, posters etc.

Also, have video marketing, image marketing etc.

This should help. There is no specific steps. It depends on how you find the target audience.

    Thanks
    Karen

    Cool

Real estate marketing really depends on what your trying to accomplish.

In other words are you an investor or are you a realtor?

If you're investing, then what niche are you targeting?

Are you looking to wholesale or are you looking to do shortsales, reo's....etc? If you're doing a combination to try and get as many leads as possible, you still have to target certain areas for particular deals.

I have found it helpful to work backwards......in other words target your marketing to find buyers first.

for example, if you are looking to wholesale properties to other investors, then you should look for cash buyers in whatever area you are investing in, they are not hard to find...once you find them, talk to them, find out what types of property they are wanting to buy and in what area....this way you can now target your search for certain areas and in certain price ranges for your buyers.

This is just my opinion, but i have learned that it helps. It just helps you narrow down your search instead of taking a broad approach.....

You can do it any way you want for any niche of real estate. If you have the extra funds you can do mailings which work well but it will cost you a little bit of money.

Really just depends on you and what you are trying to accomplish.

Bottom line is, at first you'll have to do some work to find buyers and certain deals but you eventually want to get to the point where people are finding you, not the other way around.

Just let as many people as you can know what you do.

    Hope this helps a little..

    Good luck

    JC
