Marketing Success
What has worked for you? What hasn't? Just in general. Online, offline, phone calls, face-to-face interaction, mailing, cold calls...ANYTHING!

What size of market are you in E.Schmidty? Are you in a metro area, a smaller city or a town? I ask because all strategies don't work in different types of markets.... If you give us a little feedback on your marketplace I am happy to give you some ideas.
Cheers!

Thanks for the advice, James_alex. Interesting feedback. I agree with you when you say that it is better to 'limit' your means of advertising and marketing. If you do it all, its difficult to put in your maximum effort and keep up with all necessary tasks.

The 8 secrets business owners can use to greatly improve their marketing success:-
1: Give marketing top priority.
2: Do not confuse advertising with marketing.
3: Do not base your marketing solely on your own opinions and desires.
4: Learn all you can about your potential customers.
5: Learn how to screen out undesirable customers.
6: Know and appreciate the value of your existing customers.
7: Create a positive identity that is distinct from your competitors.

For me I've found that face -to- face interaction has worked best as it allows you to build a relationship. Once this has been established it will be easier for you to promote yourself/ business as satisfied customers will self promote for you.

For us, organic search engine ranking with a blend of local business listings worked. however we suggested our clients to go for keyword domains and some of them really works.
