Over the past two years, real estate professionals have found creative ways to overcome the real estate crisis, including finding innovative uses for social media. After facing drops in home sales well into 2011, real estate pros have been forced to utilize their offline skills in an increasingly social way online. By using photo and video sharing to enhance listings, along with professional networking sites to hone their sales skills, real estate veterans have made strides in moving inventory in tough times.

One very important key with Social Media, is DON'T just puke up listing information all the time! Remember social media is like being at a networking event: first, you need to spend time listening to other people, and second you need to engage in conversation. (kind of like this forum - this is social media)

I know you wouldn't wander around a networking event just handing out listing sheets and open house flyers, so remember this with your interaction on social media. There are a lot of realtors who have done just that, and then claimed social media doesn't work!

    Good luck!

SO true! If you are constantly just feeding (potential) clients with endless amounts of (sometimes) useless information, people will quickly become immune to it! Instead of reading your Tweets, status, blogs, articles...or whatever it may be, people will eventually skim over your name instead of reading what you have to say. Instead of dealing out information all the time, talk about your personal life, thoughts, or achievements! That way people out in the internet world will consider you more as a friend, and not just a salesperson.

Yes of course! Especially for us that has a Real State Site, we usually look forward on how to get a good traffic right? So, Social Media Optimization (SMO) and Social Networking are great ways to get it. Users often go to these sites rather than Directory Sites or Article Sites...

It is a good idea, to marketing with social media it can help to sell your home or property fast. Real Estate market all around the world is in difficulty, but social media marketing is proving too good for Real estate seller.

Social Media is an extended network and perhaps a community were in you can find people even if you are just sitting in front of your desktop. Were as it would cost you more trying to give leaflets and brochure or go to other places just to seek and convince someone for a conversation.

It really gives a big advantage to people who are hooked up socially with the internet. And also its hustle free and stress free as well.
don't purchase a profit that is not profitable.
home buying - Plan it out well for your future.
