    Default Marketing For Listings

I am curious to hear what everyone is doing to market for listings. I am starting a mailing campaign that will include 10 cities in my county. I will be sending marketing pieces to NODs, people in divorce, expired, etc. I haven't decided if I will hit them once or twice in one month or not. Please, share your marketing avenues you are using to get listings and also tell us the details, example how many mailings go out a month and how many listings do you get off of it a month?

It sounds like your target audience is an older crowd. Have you tried print advertising in the local newspaper? They say reading the newspaper is a dieing trend--but not if your core demographic is senior citizens.

Local newspaper or online classifieds (Local) it is the same and boosts your business more progressively in terms of getting prospects and leads. I have seen many people today looking for updated listings and like this they can easily get one for their real estate business.

    Default Targetting Sellers

This is a tricky one, what works best for you may not work for others. Gaining a local reputation is the best way of getting new listings but if you are going to target specific areas you need to consider all options. I would start out with local adds, emailing is OK if the addresses are well targetted. Good luck with it.

mailing is good but in order to cater the wider audience and spend less i would prefer to upload you listing on real estate listings websites (most of them are paid) but great great conversions!

There are different ways of creating and marketing listings and it needs to be done very correctly. But, still it requires skills, and regular updates that are effective.

One need to be very clear about the market and surveys, on the basis of, these listings are made.

Like this marketing is being done.

It is a process, and it takes time. They key is to get your name associated with real estate listing. All marketing helps with that. Even if you send 10,000 cards, and get no listings right away, those people are looking at it and remembering. Try magents. people love to put things on the fridge.

    Good Luck!

I'd say try using the strongest local online directories in your area in terms of search ranking. Most of them probably offer free advertisements and affordable premium listings.
