I previously worked in sales for a national home builder, in Tampa, FL, making 1.75% of every sale. I got into new home sales because it was a little more stable at the time (for the most part, they drive the traffic). Well now I am having to put in just as much time and effort into finding my own leads (and making a very small amount for it). So, my thoughts are to start working as an agent and strongly market new construction. Making 4-6% for the same effort, and I will have the whole new construction industry to sell, not just my community.

I am thinking that the best way to do this is to find the inventory homes and market those on the internet, ie craigslist, facebook, linkedin, etc...

Is anyone doing this with any success? Any ideas?
