    Default FSBO's

Be careful when choosing an FSBO. Last year I listed my home to a site called bc homes for sale, (bchomesforsale.com) and they totally screwed up my ad then rudely told me it was my own fault. After a month I told them to remove my ad and refund my money. They never gave me a refund and they didn't remove my ad until yesterday (9 months later) after repeated requests/ demands/ threats from me. They were obviously just using it to pad their listings on their site.
Sometimes you just have go with a pro I guess.

Yeah be very extra careful... try to look and examine the about page or contact page to know if the site is legit. FSBO helps a lot, just be extra careful.
    thanks

I had a thought while reading this thread. See what you think of it. Build your own blog or web page and put your home pictures and information on it. Then just list your web site on the FSBO site.

I just did a quick check witth GoDaddy.com and they are selling .info domains for $1.99 a year and a 5-Page Website with 1 GB Disk Space, 150 GB Bandwidth, and a free email account for $4.99 a month. They have a website builder that is designed for the inexperienced. So for less than $35 for 6 months you can have your own real estate site to sell you house.

Thank you very much Steve, this will definitely help a lot of people. The way they really want to sell your house privately. Selling can be easy, just be well prepared and well informed. thanks
