Default Twitter is great if you use it.

The social networking is huge if you work it. You must be very involved in social networking to generate traffic. Post tweets, write a blog, post blogs to facebook and twitter, record videos on youtube and channel it through twitter. Follow and asked to be followed, sign up with likedin it is great for leads especially real estate agents.

Bottom line is that you have to be active. Spend 2 to 3 hours a day socializing through social networks and build your presence.

    Yes buddy,

Twitter and other social websites can surly help real estate agents. It is time consuming when you are setting up account.... but after that you do not need more hours to spend on. You must be regular in updating the status.

When you are in real estate business, you must be active in social networks like twitter. Because in social networks, there are lot of possible clients that you can encounter.

Can anyone actually trace any converted leads back to Twitter or Facebook? Has it been worth the daily effort? I recently deleted by Facebook account because I found it more distracting than helpful to my real estate business. Any others with the same feelings?

I prefer using Facebook instead of twitter . But there is a different approach do both these things as twitter is to hit a mature community as facebook is for a young community . So it depends upon the thing you are selling .

We can't deny that Social Networking Sites such as twitter,facebook,etc.. give a huge help when it comes to business.

Aside from tha fact that their popularity is undeniably increasing, this is the easiest way if not the fastest way to connect to people, which in tha latter can be our potential client!

I guess facebook is more mature and has a much larger community of members than Twitter; I’m not saying any single social media tool is the be-all and end-all for authentic and effective social media marketing.

I am completely agree with the post and would like to add that it doesn't require to spend 2 to 3 hours on twitter and only working for 1-2 hours dedicatedly can increase the followers upto 200-300 and it is my own experience of working on twitter for my business. LinkedIn is a best platform of professionals and best to get in contact with all the agents.
