    Default Ranking at the top of Google

    How much money would you pay per month for a real estate website that ranks at the top of Google for the top (strongest/receives the most traffic) 3 keywords in your area?

    i'm just going to do a guess here, but the amount of additional revenue that could be potentially brought in, plus a value for the traffic that may lead to potential revenue, times 3 to 5%, as it would be a portion of the marketing costs but one would have to keep in mind the other fixed costs which would have to be allocated against the total revenue and value.

    Do it organically. It is much cheaper and lasts a long time but takes a while to get going

    This is a tough question to answer. The answer depends on how big your busines is now, and how much money one would have to pay to "eventually" get their website ranked in the top spot organically. Some may be willing to pay $1000s per month, others may not think it's worth $100 per month. All depends on how established your business already is at this point.

    Hi

    I think it depends on how soon the additonal money can come in and what gaurantee you give on the ongoing business coming in. Also, it depends if you can succesfully track the leads provided by you compared to the leads provided from other sources.

    This question is far too vague. What services will your website provide? Who updates listings? How often? Who is invited to join the website?

    Ranking at the top of Google is nice, but on your end there are countless other factors that go into developing an effective web presence that members would find useful, and on our end it is impossible to give you a good estimate since most of us will be attempting to perform some sort of ROI calculation in our head. Without knowing exactly what your site will offer, we can't estimate what this site/service would be worth to us.

    The value of a ranking depends on so many thing, such as whether it is a big city market or a small town. Obviously, population, and thus search traffic, really matters. It also depends on what you do with it. I can personally attest that it is very challenging to monetize a high traffic real estate website. Of course it does have a value, and to the right person this could be thousands of dollars a month in an urban market.

    For my clients there is no guarantee of business, only ranking. I can tell my client that there are an average of 74,000 searches per month (Google) for the term "Homes Charlotte" and guarantee him/her that their site will rank top 5 for that term (Google). What happens after that is out of my control - we can't control which site gets those clicks, it may be a crappy site (not if I built it!) and the searcher leaves right away.

    Default what is it to you to sell a few more homes?

    or whatever industry you are in;
    Do you want to increase your exposure a hundred fold?

    Are you ready to take your business to the next level, not only for 'right now', but where the future of the buyers will be.

    I'm sure that those who are putting in the effort or in some cases money, to further their internet marketing will reap rewards this year and is investing in the future.

    Businesses who started 10 years ago are way ahead of those who are now getting in, just try to imagine what it may be like in another ten. It will cost you much more!!! Just like if you start saving money while you are young and have interest collecting on it. Think about it.
