Importance of Online Real Estate Marketing

A significant percentage of my marketing efforts are placed on online marketing and it has been proven effective for me.

Marketing online is one of the best ways for your business, even in terms of the real estate firms - with many individuals taking advantage of online services to cater their needs and information that they are looking for. And as long as you cater them what they actually need - then it would become one of your businesses' major assets that will drive better revenue for your website.

A few stats from the National Association of Realtors that say it all. (Interestingly these work quite well for me in making the argument for people to list with my flat fee MLS service versus a Realtor).

90% of buyers start their search online
80% of properties are sold through the MLS
79% of buyers are working with a buyer's agent (who I really hope is performing an MLS search for their clients!)

Having nice website is good to have, but isn't worth a lot to you if it's not being found by search engines. It's practically a "billboard in the desert" - it looks nice, but nobody can see it.

Absolutely right gilberthousehub, a good website should have proper optimization strategy for both search engines and people. As search results now varies on relevancy.

We all know about the online business, no. of peoples are using internet globally and prefer to online marketing. If a real estate company can't do online marketing then that company can't go ahead very well. as my opinion online marketing is very important.
