Has anyone had any success knocking on doors

Just wondering if anyone has ever had any success farming areas, knocking on doors and stuff? Seems like a lot of people just don't answer their doors anymore.

If you want my opinion, I throw away flyers and don't talk to people who come up and knock on my front door

It sure works with a very good probability.It will take long time to get the results but eventually land up in heavy business,I have a friend who made miracle business by knocking on door technique.We should have the perseverance and passion to carry this business model.

I believe it takes a truly refined approach (and LOTS of practice) to execute at door knocking. Most people are not delighted to be solicited at their home.

Our real estate team has actually had great success knocking on doors. We have different tactics and approaches mostly taken from paid training sessions. It does work! Face to face contact trumps phone calling and email by far.

Of course many of people are getting door knocking opportunities but it needs lots of efforts, hard work and years of experience. It takes very long time.

What are you offering when you've approached someone at their home? Are you asking them to list with you, or to buy a home from you (or both)?
