Facebook Ads: Share Your Thoughts
Having been involved with Internet Marketing for some time I have used facebook PPC ads successfully in a number of different arenas but I have yet to put any up related to Real Estate.
I would love to hear any experiences that anyone has had using facebook ads to promote any aspect of their business.
Specifically, has any one used facebook PPC ads for the following:
- Straight Lead Generation
- Sharing Lead Magnets You Have Created
- Posting Specific Listings
- Finding Distressed Property Owners
- Personal Branding
I will be beginning a few campaigns in the coming weeks that specifically focus on sharing reports and "Foreclosure Solution" kits with distressed homeowners. I will report back here if I have any luck.

Yeah, I am actually just starting to try and use the social sites to improve SEO. I am a little late to that game... I have to admit I find SEO just so slow and unresponsive. I know that is the nature of the beast, and you need a well balanced marketing approach, but I just love the instant gratification of seeing your ad instantly appear.

I've done some PPC ads on Facebook to promote my wife's website. I had mixed results. I got a lot of clicks, but the engagement on the site was quite low. The average click yielded only 1.67 pages/visit which is barely an additional page beyond the original landing page. I tried different ad copy and even created a landing page where visitors could fill out a form to get a CMA done on their home. Again, very little engagement and only one conversion on the form.
I was quite surprised by this because the targeting capabilities in FB should enable you to reach potential clients very easily. They just seemed to be 'curious'.
I'd love to know if anyone was able to have some tangible success with their FB ads.

All very interesting info. I feel facebook is used by a younger crowd and thus markets to this younger crowd so having something that a younger person would find interesting is the most important.

I think Facebook leads can be a great way to target according to certain demographical criteria, such as age, location, gender, etc.
