    Default Another Place To Advertise

The main key is getting alot of "backlinks" to your website(s) -- so, I've set up a "Top Sites" Forum where you can advertise all you want

Apparently, you didn't notice I posted that NINE DAYS ago, and I don't consider my post as "spamming", as I'm assuming you don't know what that really means ... I'm merely giving people another FREE place to advertise; maybe I shouldn't let them do that, huh?

If you took the time to READ thru all of the threads, you'd see where others are constantly placing links to their website -- now, that's what you should be calling spamming!

I rarely post here anyway, as I've got a life -- maybe you need to get one too.

I agree with getting many links to your site but I dont agree with linking to all types of sites and also non-relevant sites.

It's best that real estate agents target real estate related websites.

Other real estate websites, mortgage websites, home inspection sites, money related sites and so on.

    Default Agent to Agent links

Directorys are fine, but be careful about agent to agent links. Due to the BigDaddy update, agent to agent links can be harmfu in some cases. Like having to many agents linked to you that are on the same server. Like haveing 100 Advanced Access clients link to you. -----BAD

When you have hundreds of links from one server Google knows it's an automated way of getting them (AA).

While I was at the 2006 SES in San Jose we actually asked Google reps that specific question. "Are Agent To Agent Links Ok".

He tried to answer the question without actually answering the question so someone asked the same question again and he came out saying that link exchanging is ok as long as the link that is being posted on each site is of benefit to the visitor.

What you don't want to do is create a directory of states and post links of other real estate agents in those areas within that directory. You should try not to make it as "Link Exchanging" but rather as partnering with the websites. The benefit to a visitor in that case would be, if they were to move to a different state, they can easily find an agent that is partnered with an agent from their area.

    Default Agent to Agent Links

Great post Agent Server. Instead of State Directories, what type of format do you think is best then?

I made a slight mistake on the last post.

I wanted to say that you should create state directories and post the links there instead of having 20 resource pages that are packed with links.

Within the Directory of states you should try to catagorize the links properly. Show all mortgage brokers in one category wihtin the sate and show other agents within the other.

Make sure you mark your directory pages as partners or something catchy that would tell the visitor these are agents who you associate with in other states. Do not mark it as link exchange partners.

It's a travel forum. There is no more benifit for getting a backlink from unrelevant sites. If it would be a real estate forum it will boost real estate sites. So please advertist here only theme based and relevant forums because it's a real estate forum.
